Kayla Alves
Club: Mont Ste Marie
I got into skiing when I was 5 years old at Mont Cascades. What started as taking snow school lessons evolved into joining the Nancy Greene program. At first I didn’t really like skiing in Nancy Greene, but I eventually fell in love with the sport and joined Cascades race team in second year U12, where I skied until I switched to Edelweiss for U16. My favorite ski memories are from the last two summers I spent in Hintertux training with Austria Race Camps. When I’m not skiing you can find me playing soccer, hanging out with friends, travelling, reading, listening to music, spending time with my dog Cleo or a combination of the last three.

Max Maranda
Club: Mont Ste Marie
I began alpine skiing when I was three and a half years old. I started racing in the Nancy Greene program at Mont Ste Marie, followed by racing for Club Mont Ste Marie from U10-U16. When I am not skiing, I am enjoying mountain biking at Mont Ste Marie, around the Ottawa area, or out west at Whistler. I ski on Rossignol skis. One of my favourite ski moments was training in Chile last summer.

Oliver Maranda
Club: Mont Ste Marie
I started alpine skiing when I was three and a half years old. First I was racing in the Nancy Greene program at Mont Ste Marie, then I started racing for Club Mont Ste Marie from U10-U16. When I am not skiing, I am mountain biking at Mont Ste Marie, around the Ottawa area, or out west at Whistler. I ski on Rossignol skis. One of my favourite things about skiing is that it takes me all around the world.

Antonia Rehm
Club: Ski Club Garmisch (SCG)
I come from a region in Germany, where skiing is very common, so I started when I was three years old. First in a ski school, later I was able to join the ski club, where I stayed from U8-U14. For the U16 I was elected to ski in our provincial U16 team (Ski Gau Werdenfels) and this year I got into the German team.
One of my highlights from last season was skiing in Norway and a victory at my first ever international race (ArgeAlp).
I am currently doing an exchange year in Canada, Ottawa, so this will be my first season with the NCO.
When I am not skiing I love biking or catching up with my friends.
