I started skiing when I was two years old, but after skiing for a while I was scared of going fast. So, my parents put me in the Nancy Greene program at Camp Fortune hoping I would get over this fear and we would start skiing more. I fell in love with ski racing and had my first actual year of racing in first year U14. My favourite ski memory is traveling with my best friends, and having the chance to train all over the world. When I am not skiing I love to spend my time with my dogs Roxy and Taz, go camping, play volleyball and horseback ride.

My parents put me on skis as soon as I was able to walk, taking me to local hills such as Camp Fortune and Mont Tremblant. Every year during March break we would go skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Some of my favourite skiing memories are from big mountain resorts such as Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, and Lake Louise. When I’m not skiing, I enjoy mountain biking, going to the gym and spending time outdoors.

My favourite memory is from my home ski club, Club MSM. It is skiing in the trees and on the Klotz run on powder days with my teammates. I started skiing at Mont Ste Marie when I was two years old with my parents and older sister, Julia. My sister skied with the NCO, my dad, Sean Gilmour, raced, and my grandparents were ski racers too. When I am not skiing, you will find me sailing, playing volleyball, water-skiing, and spending time with my dog, Kappa.

My dad basically put me on skis as soon as I could walk, so I have been skiing for most of my life. When I am not skiing, I enjoy mountain biking, playing soccer, going to the gym and listening to music.

When I was two years old my parents took me to Mont Tremblant when I went skiing for the first time. Both my parents are coaches so I skied a lot when I was younger, and I realized I really wanted to race , so I did. And now I am a ski racer. My favourite ski memory would be taking chair lift rides with best friends. When I’m not skiing I will be hanging out with friends, or thrifting, or hanging out with friends and thrifting, reading a book, or watching a show.

I started skiing at Camp Fortune when I was 4 years old and started racing in U12. I skied with Camp Fortune until my second year of U14, then joined Mont Ste Marie ski club. My favourite ski memory is going to Mont Tremblant in U14 for a preseason camp with my friends. When I’m not skiing I enjoy mountain biking at Camp Fortune and Mont Ste Marie.

I started skiing at the age of 2 years old, I’ve been part of the Mont-Saint-Marie ski club since u10. When I’m not skiing on snow I’m skiing on water, I love wakeboarding, barfooting, slalom skiing and anything else that you can name while being towed by a boat. My favorite memory as a skier would be going to provincial with my friends where we didn’t necessarily care about the result but were just there to have a blast.

Hi, my name is Finley Somers. I’m from the club Mont Ste Marie ski team, where I’ve been skiing since I was 18 months old. At that wise young age I started skiing tied up on a leash going straight down the hill. I probably enjoyed it, but I can’t say I remember it and that’s how I began loving the sport. I then joined the Nancy Greene ski program at MSM. One of my favourite ski memories would have to be at my first ever ski race, in Nancy Greene. Believe it or not, I was terrified of racing when I was little. I loved the speed aspect but the part I didn’t like was when you get to the bottom of the course and there’s a bunch of people watching you (I’m still scared of this). So one day, I can’t remember if it was by choice or forced, but I went to my first race and me and my friend Ashley Courtney laughed the whole day long. People were looking at us funny on the chairlift because we were being so loud. Ever since then, I’ve been laughing (a lot) and having fun while doing this sport. When I’m not skiing, I’m usually working out and mountain biking, working at Kunstadt Sports, and spending time with family and friends.

I started skiing when I was five years old at Camp Fortune because my dad wanted me to experience a sport he had always enjoyed. I loved it from the first second! When I’m not skiing, I like to go road biking and spend time outdoors.
